ALTCER

Application

Steel structures

Bridges, gantries and frames where section loss matters and access is restricted.

1920 × 1080 Real photograph of the asset class: Steel structures The actual structure under inspection, showing the access problem. No stock imagery, no icon in place of a photograph. media placeholder
Conditions

What we are dealing with

Traffic management and access platforms dominate the cost of a thickness survey.

Asset geometry
Plate girders, box sections, lattice members.
Typical material
Carbon steel, weathering steel
Typical coating
Aged paint systems, local corrosion products
Today

Conventional approach

Under-bridge units or scaffolding with manual gauges.

With ALTCER

How we measure it

Targeted flights to defined members, with readings tied to a member reference.

You receive: Member-referenced thickness table with photographs.

Demo narrative for layout review. Every condition and limitation on this staging site is invented.

Where this does not apply

Heavy corrosion products must be removed first. Confined spaces are out of scope.

Recommended system

960 × 640 Colibri360, real hardware in operation The actual product, photographed in use. No studio render, no CGI. media placeholder

Colibri360

Drone-mounted EMAT thickness gauge with the sensor on a rotary mast, for measuring metal structures without scaffolding or rope access.

  • 2 – 60 mm Measurable thickness — S355, mill scale, lift-off up to 2 mm, 20 °C
  • 0.08 mm Measurement accuracy — S355 reference block, lift-off 1 mm, 20 °C
  • 3 mm Validated lift-off — Coated carbon steel, coating up to 3 mm
